Robert J. Kropp
Delanson - On December 16, 2021 Robert J Kropp of Delanson NY entered eternal life. Born May 12, 1935 in Troy, NY.
Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Peggy) Kropp of Troy, NY, his grandson Brendan Thomas Kropp and his parents Rollin and Cora Irene (Shumann) Kropp.
Bob was a graduate of Alfred University and Syracuse University both in NY state and graduated with a degree in business.
He worked at Paulson Lumber and later Miron Lumber in Albany as a bookkeeper as well as Value Behavioral Health in Troy.
Bob leaves behind a son Thomas (Stacy), a daughter Tracey (Kevin), his sister Dale (Kevin) Kronau, a brother David, and three grandchildren Paige, Connor and Declan Kropp as well several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bob enjoyed watching hockey especially the Albany River Rats which he and his wife had season tickets and the NY Islanders. He was a fan of Syracuse football and basketball. He enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. Bob loved spending time at the shore in Cape May NJ, Hampton Beach NH and on The Cape.

Bob’s family wishes to thank the staff at Delmar Family Medical as well as the nurses and staff at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany for their excellent care of Bob as well as their love and support of his family.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Troy. Friends are invited to visit Bob’s family from 9-10 a.m. in the church prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the ALS center 19 Warehouse Row, Albany, NY 12205 would be appreciated.
