Pamela R. Gillick long time resident of Troy passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Daughter of the late Joseph and Marjorie Willard - Diduch. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Gillick.
Pamela enjoyed a long career with the Van Rensselaer Manor where she retired following 23 years of service. Pam was an avid camper in Aqua Vista campground where she cherished family time in the family seasonal camp site. Pam enjoyed playing slot machines at the casinos. Above all Pam was a loving mother and grandmother and held her family as the utmost priority in life.
Pam is survived by children Michael (Stephanie) Gillick, Mary (Daniel) French, Thomas (Vanessa) Gillick Sr. and Kathleen (Matthew) Breslin. Additionally, Pam is survived by her grandchildren, Dalton, Payton, Alyssa, Tanner, Cadence, Thomas Jr., Grace, Norah, Naliyah, Lucas, and Logan. Also survived by Pam's lifelong friend Cheryl Snay.
In addition to her husband and parents, Pam is predeceased by her siblings Beth Kelly, David Diduch and stepmother Lois Diduch.
Family and friends are invited and may visit with Pam's family from 4-6pm in the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home 510 Pawling Avenue (corner of Parkview Court and Pawling Avenue) Troy on Tuesday October 1st. A prayer service will immediately follow the visitation at 6pm in the funeral home.
