Margaret A. Wolfe of Rotonda West Florida, formerly of Brunswick, New York, passed away peacefully at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa on August 1, 2023, after a courageous battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She was surrounded by her loving husband Richard, as well as her children and grandchildren, in her final days.
A graduate of Catholic Central High School in 1968, she later attended St. Rose College. Marge enjoyed a long career with the NYS Department of Housing where she worked as a Senior Programmer, making many friends throughout her career. An avid golfer, Marge could often be found on the golf course enjoying the warm weather of Florida. When not golfing, Marge took to traveling and spending time with family and friends. Marge created a meaningful life. An accomplished Mom, having raised five boys and a husband. She always enjoyed the adventures of life and lived as a free spirit.
Daughter of the late William J. and C. Marie (Brady) Pendergast. Beloved wife of Richard G. Wolfe. In addition to her husband, Marge is survived by her sons Christopher (Jennifer) Wolfe, Gary (Karen) Wolfe, Randy (Joanne) Wolfe, Bill (Shelley) Murray, and Edward (Carol) Murray; Siblings William (Judy) Pendergast, Michael (Bonnie) Pendergast, Marie (James) Hoin, John(Laurie) Pendergast, Matt (Liz) Pendergast; Brother-in-Law Phil (Karen) Glogowski. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jessica (Ben), Devin, Rachael, Sydney, Shiobhan, Sabrina, Ryan, Adam, Faith, Alex, Romeyn, MaryAnn, and Morgan.
In addition to her parents, Marge is predeceased by her sister Marian (Mimi) Glogowski and sister-in-law Doris (Michael) Novak.
Marge was a devoted wife to her husband Dick for 44 years. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Marge made a mark on all of our hearts. Her footsteps can never be filled, nor her love ever forgotten. She left behind a beautiful legacy.
Services were held privately, inurnment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, New York at the family's convenience.
