Margaret A. Williams

Margaret "Peg" Williams, 76 of Troy, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18th, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 30, 1948 to the late Frank and Fran Flynn of Troy.

Peg attended Catholic Central High School ('65) and after graduating pursued her passion for helping others through her career as a nurse and in medical records at Samaritan Hospital and Memorial Hospital.

Family was the center of her life. She was a devoted wife of 45 years and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband Jeff, her three children; Tom (Adrienne) Williams, Lindsay (Mike) Knott, and Ashleey (Zach) Soule. Her grandchildren, Ryan (Charlin), Reilly, Emily, Abby, Cailyn, Reilly, Reagan, Mackenzie, Kinley, Flynn, and Elodie brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She is also survived by her sister Jane Harrigan, her brother Frank Flynn as well as 2 great grandchildren Braxton and Hadley.

Beyond her family, Peg was an avid camper and was in her glory camping at the beach. She also enjoyed time with close friends and spoiling her many dogs.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Peg's family in the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, 510 Pawling Avenue, Troy on Thursday October 24th 4-6pm. A prayer service will immediately follow the visitation in the funeral home.
