David M. Campbell longtime resident of Munro Court in Troy died unexpectedly on December 28th, 2024. He was the son of the late Edward Jr. and Murine Libby Campbell.

Educated in Troy schools, David was a career man with Lydall Inc in Green Island prior to his retirement in 2021. An avid knife collector and Dallas Cowboy fan, David will be remembered fondly by his extended family and coworkers as a homebody, taking great pride in his lawn at his home.

David is survived by several cousins. In addition to his cousins David is survived by his friends and caregivers, Cerrone and Kate Lewis.

In addition to his parents David is predeceased by his brother Edward Campbell III.

Friends are invited to visit in the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, 510 Pawling Avenue, Troy January 7th from 9-11am. A brief prayer service will be held at 11am in the funeral home. Interment will be immediately following the service in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy, where David will join his parents in the Campbell family plot.
