Glogowski, Clara E. – Wynantskill

Clara E. Glogowski, longtime resident of Wynantskill passed away peacefully January 7^th, 2023, at the age of 98. Daughter of the late Alexander and Anna Walaszinowicz - Cazasta. Beloved wife of 72 years of the late Edward T. Glogowski.

Clara will be remembered as a woman of great faith, treating everyday as a blessing and a gift. An avid reader, Clara could be found enjoying her word puzzles. In her younger years Clara took pride in gardening at her home which she and Edward shared together.  Most importantly in Clara’s life the task of being a mother was always at the forefront. A former Den Mother and a great supporter to her children and her grandchildren, she leaves behind a lasting memory of devotion to family and unconditional love.  

Clara is survived by her children; Mark (Lorry), David (Gail), Phil (Karen), and Wayne (Chris) Glogowski; Also surviving; Nine Grandchildren Christen Glogowski, Scott Glogowski, Jennifer Wojcik, Jamie Glogowski, Justin Glogowski, Adam (Stephanie) Glogowski, Matthew Glogowski, Shannon Glogowski (Wyatt Lewis), Jason Glogowski and Nine Great-Grandchildren Karissa Wojcik (Adam Brown) Peyton Wojcik, Riley Wojcik, Milana Wojcik, Rumyana Wojcik, Doychin Wojcik, Aidan Glogowski, Isabella Glogowski and Brynn Lewis and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband Clara is predeceased by her siblings and daughter in law Mimi Pendergast – Glogowski.

Family and friends are invited to visit Clara’s family on Thursday January 12 from 5-7pm in the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, 510 Pawling Avenue (Corner of Pawling Ave and Parkview Court) Troy. A prayer service will follow the visitation at the funeral home.  Clara will join her husband Edward in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Tuesday January 17 from the funeral home where a procession will be assembled and depart at 9am.
