Ben J. Morano

Ben J. Morano, formerly of Pawling Avenue in Troy passed away at the age of 90 with his loving family by his bedside Thursday September 21, 2023.  Son of the late Anthony and Carmella Pavase-Morano.

A retiree of Norton Company in Watervliet, Ben was a long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Troy. Ben answered the call to serve his country in the 1950’s and is a veteran of the United States Army.

Ben is survived by his brother Joseph Morano and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to Ben’s mother and father he is predeceased by his siblings.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Ben in Sacred Heart Church 310 Spring Avenue, Troy on Tuesday September 26^th at 10:30am. Interment will immediately follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.

Ben’s family wishes to thank the staff of the Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Castleton on Hudson for their kind and compassion care during Ben’s final days.
